Life as Fiction (Through Time): An Exercise in the Clockwork and Constriction of Cinematic History is a project to chronicle my favorite film from every year since 1921. Select years will be available from the beginning and other years will, hopefully, be revealed on a daily basis. The primary expecations of the project are to discover new cinema for years where the current favorite doesn’t fully satisfy, and to revisit certain films to confirm that they truly belong.
